The world of animals in nature is incredibly fascinating yet sometimes terrifying. The Green-banded Broodsac parasite is one example. Inspired by this parasite, I created a looping animation depicting what it would be like if the Green-banded Broodsac parasite could infect humans.
This is the process of how I created this work: I recorded myself acting as if I were infected by the green-banded parasite, and from that footage, I transformed it into an animation using rotoscope technique. I created all the keyframes (there are 57 main frames) with Photoshop and finalized the compositing process with After Effects and Premiere Pro for sound design.
